Be vigilant watching out for Scams
Scam emails are everywhere! One of my lawyer clients clicked on a dodgy link only last Friday!

Criminals are infiltrating our email systems more and more! Be very sure to have anti-virus running on your computers.

Be super careful before clicking on links in emails from outside your organisation.

We need to be super diligent what we open. Be sure to have a reputable up-to-date anti-virus running on every computer you own.

Both the emails below are scams – the scary part is the both have been presented to look legitimate!

In the ASIC scam I saw this morning – they have used ua instead of au! ie asic.gov.ua/quersion when it should be asic.gov.au/question… So very subtle and then there is the email from that looked like it was from my mother on the preview…………. it wasn’t until I opened the message and saw a dodgy email address!

If you need to call a person who send you a link you aren’t expecting and check if they sent you a link – do so – it is so much easier than having some low-life take control of your computer.

Stay vigilant people!
